Add second Processor
With system board 224928-001 after adding 2nd CPU, the server wont boot. CDROM drive light flashes but the server wont post. No video at all. Going back to 1 CPU the server works normally. Latest ROMPAQ applied already. Both CPUs are 800 Mhz.

Re: Add second Processor
The first problem here is the part number of the systemboard. This part number of 224928-001 is for the 1Ghz processor only. This is not meant to support the 800mhz cpu. You will need systemboard part number of 173837-001.
This might be why when you add the 2nd cpu the system will not post.

We are here for a good time, not a long time!

Re: Add second Processor
Based on your suggestion, I tried it with two 1Ghz processors and that yielded the same results. It still would not post the same as with two 800 Mhz processors. Any other suggestions.
