Adding 2 Nvidia Tesla K40 to Proliant DL380 G9 Server

Hello!

We need to add two Tesla k40 GPU to our Proliant DL380 G9 server with 2 Xeon processors and 8 SFF.

What do we need to install these two GPU?

I already read it, it says i need:

"The Primary GPU riser (719076-B21) is required to support this in slot1"

and

"The secondary GPU riser (719073-B21) is required to support this in slot2 (2nd processor required)."

But, can I install two Tesla k40 in the first (primary riser) or have to install both risers (primary and secondary) and install one GPU per riser?

Wish I had more to offer, I haven't had an opportunity to install GPU's in the DL line. You may look in the maintenance and service guide, it may show some more detail
