Adding 2nd CPU to ML350 G2

Is there anything special required to adding a second processor besides the VRM? (such as setting in the bios..etc)

Hola Carlos,

Maybe you will encounter a problem after adding the 2nd CPU + VRM.

Depending on your BIOS, you might need to upgrade your BIOS to the latest version available.

Having a less than current BIOS can cause your Proliant to spurt an error about unrecogniced CPU or noly one CPU recognized.

I've been there. Compaq guys, on the phone support (CarePAQ) were very helpful to me. Keep their phone number handy!
