Hi!

What kind of card are you adding?
To which PCI-slot?
Have you tried another PCI-slot?
Updated BIOS firmware?

Did you add a support card from quickspecs? Which one?

Re: Adding PCI expansion card to HP ML110G6 issue

I think i have found the cause of not booting up...HP ML110G6 PCI slot is design for 3.3V PCI card while what i have is a 2.2V from syba...or is their any other way to adjust the supported voltage on the board?

Buy the correct expansion card for the server. I am surprised you did not damage the card or server board.

Probably unwise to run an unsupported PCI card in the server, might void your warranty.
You may be able to alter the voltage in BIOS somewhere.

Re: Adding PCI expansion card to HP ML110G6 issue

thanks to your inputs...i already return the card to the supplier for replacement..we actually have 4 units of this HP ML110G6 (we try to use this model for workstation units for reliability and speed )...so making some tweaks may not be a good idea indeed.
