Adding a New harddrive to DL 380 G4

I need to add a new harddrive to a dl 380. This is the last slot available and when I insert the drive it does not light up. Where do I have to go to setup this drive? Do I have to use the Smart Start CD? Or do I just have to go into the dos based array utility?

I need to add this drive and expand the array.

Hello Donnie
The drive is not lit up because it's not active. It will be active after you will create/expand your array (and you will need to extend the logical drive after expansion process is complete, so the OS will be able to see additional space).
Use Array Configuration Utility to expand the array and extend logical drive. The latest version of SmartStart CD (which latest version of ACU) is available here:
