Adding a Second P812 Controller
Hi,
I have a DL180 G6 running Win 2008 R2. The P812 has eight logical drives ( four external disk arrays) configured, including boot. I wanted to prepare the server for expansion and didn't want to overburden the current P812 controller. When I add a second P812 the server stops recognizing all of the logical drives when I move some of the disk arrays to the second card. Luckily when I remove the second card and reconnect the arrays to the original controller the logical drives are fine. How can I fix this? Can the dl180 G6 handle more than one P812? Thanks!
