Adding a new HS 36GN HDD
I currently have 3 x 9.1GB HS in a RAID 5 cofig. Server was running out of disk space, so when to purchased a new 36GB SCSI drive with the HS tray. Once I added the new drive in, the server won't boot. Any suggestion?

Re: Adding a new HS 36GN HDD
Eddie,
Check the firmware revision of your array controller to be sure it is up to date. You did not note if there were any post error codes (17xx) or where the boot process stopped. Remember that if you add this drive to the same array as the 9.1 gig drives are in, you will only get 9.1 gig out of the drive.
