Adding a spare drive to a smart array 641

I would like to add a spare drive to our server, reading the help in the ACU it's not clear on how to do that. The system is currently setup with a Raid 5 with 3 36.4Gb hot plug drives I have another 36.4 drive to add as the spare. In the ACU there seems to be no way to add a spare will this option show up when I plug the spare drive in? Is there anything I should do first?

if the inserted disk are all used, the item referred to add the hot-spare it's not visible.

So all I need to do is plug in the drive and the option will show up?

yes.
nothing different (and bad) may happen.

I've used many different controllers.
also, right now, the "add hot-spare" it's not visible because all the inserted HD are used ...

just add the new HDD and go to ACU and select and configure the new HDD as hot-spare
