1 Which Array controller card is installed.
2 What is the Raid that is setup.
3 Is it ML350 G1 server.
4 What is the OS installed.

Solution1. Use the Latest version of the Array Configuration Utility(ACU).
2. Install the New Harddisk.
3. Open the ACU and check if the New Hdd is detected and unallocated/free.
4. Highlight the Array and click on Expand Array. Select the Hdd and it will rebuild the array.
5. Once the array is rebuilt. Highlight the Logical Drive and click on Extend the Logical Drive.
6. Once the logical drive is extended, check in disk management there will be free space available for that disk.
7. Then extend the logical drive in windows.
