Adding memory to proliant ml110 servers

Hi,

I need to have 8GB of memory on my machines.
what arrangement is the best practice and what should be spec. for the memories.

What generation is this server?

it is generation 5.

That happens to be max memory for the G5. Take a look at the memory matrix in the quickspecs:
