Adding the same 9GB SCSI drive to an existing array
I have been unable to run the Array Configuration Utility to configure an additional Array via an added drive on a DL 380 G1 production server.
F10 at boot-up shows the drive but does not prompt me to configure the Array.
I also updated the drivers for the Array; however, I have not been able to confirm the results of this action without arranging scheduled downtime.
Any suggestions,
Thank You,
Joseph

Re: Adding the same 9GB SCSI drive to an existing array
Joseph:
have you tried using the ACU diskette version:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/15125.html
You will have to use the makedisk.bat to create the disks.
As for configuring the boot prompts, you may need to reconfigure the system settings. Click here for the System Configuration Utility:

G'luck!
