Advanced Memory Protection options in RBSU for DL385 G2
I would appreciate if anyone can tell me how to get to Advanced Memory Protection option in RBSU for DL385 G2 server. Though HP ROM-Based Setup Utility User Guide said it is located in RBSU System Options, I cannot find it there... Does anyone know how to enable Online Spare with Advanced ECC Support?

Re: Advanced Memory Protection options in RBSU for DL385 G2
- how many memory modules does the server have? 2 Processors?
- you have the latest System ROM?
- also when you go to:
-> System Options
--> Advance Memory Options
what options do you have:
Advance ECC support ?
Online Spare with Advanced Support?
Mirrored Memory with Advance ECC Support?

Re: Advanced Memory Protection options in RBSU for DL385 G2
are your 2 GB modules dual?
** If single and dual ranked DIMMs are mixed on the same node, bank interleaving will not be enabled.

Re: Advanced Memory Protection options in RBSU for DL385 G2
The option comes under System Options
It is only available for the servers which supports them.Proliant DL385 G2 only supports Advanced ECC Memory protection and other options like online spare is not available for it.
As stated in the quickspecs:
Memory Protection Advanced ECC
