Amber light on hard drive will not stop blinking

I have a Proliant DL380 G3 and during a routine walkthrough of the server room I noticed two hard drives with blinking amber lights. There seems to be nothing wrong with the drives, the firmware is up to date, no errors in the ADU or Insight Diagnostics. Could I possibly just have a bad backplane or system board?

What says IML log ? maybe the prefailure diagnostics has noticed too much errors.

If these harddisk within RAID you can check by unplug and plug the harddisk into the harddisk bay one by one.

if helps, assign point.

Blinking indicate degraded.
So the drives has exceeded some thresholds, or appear to have a eminent failure.

Where are you from....? Are you a technical person....? Think before you answer.....?

When the hard drive is glowing with amber it may be defective or is about to fail...... When the hard drive in the array you can't remove from the bay one by one.....
