Anyone heard of G8 sales being wound down?

Was told by a hardware tech that he heard at least here in the UK, HP are winding down G8 production to help push up the low numbers of G9's being sold.

Anyone heard of this or know when the lifecycle for purchase of new G8's should be expected to end?

I'm heard EOS about end of the May 2015, in japan.

So, I'm been tried Gen9,now.

My impact from Gen8 was default UEFI mode, and nothing else one physical Serial port !
