Are there different ROK licenses?

Hi Community!!

Recently, I have installed a HPE DL380 Gen9 with a ROK in Windows 2016. The network has the drivers HPE Network but the server was working bad. After uninstalling the network software, the system detected that the server had BroadCom Xtreme network cards . finally I had to uninstall all the drivers from the server and install all the drivers from the HPE webpage. I have tried to update all from the intelligent provisioning but i wasn't able to access. Any way, now all is sorted.

Are there different ROK licenses? Do you have a ROK for ML servers, other for DL Servers and other for SL Servers? Maybe here I had the problem. Could you confirm it to me? In this case, I need to talk with my provider.

Thanks in advance. Really appreciate.

Hi,

I hope you are looking for this info:

I guess the License is not based on ProLiant models but its based on Processor Cores.

You need to just check if the ProLiant server is compatible with Windows 2016

Thank You!
I am a HPE employee
