Array Accelarator Disabled

Hi,
A critical error has occured on this array controller, the array accelarator has been permanantely disabled. This error is occuring on DL580 G2 Server. The array accelarator and array controller is there any connectivity between both and how can it be diagnosed? The array controller is a 5i+ array controller

Array accelerator of course related to SmartArray controller, it is part of SmartArray controller.
Do you have Proliant support pack installed ? If yes, check SmartArray controller status on system management homepage.
Also, when you open array configuration utility most likely you will see error description why array accelerator disabled.
You can run HP ProLiant Array Diagnostics Utility for Windows as well

The array accelerator is a built in part of the array controller. From your description it sounds like you have a hardware issue. The following URLs will describe how to diagnose the issue:
