Array Accelerator Battery Charge Low - Error: 94 - HP DL 380 G5

Hi Guys,

I found this error

Post Error - Message: 1794-Drive Array - Array Accelerator Battery Charge Low - Error: 94

in diagnostic utility on a server HP DL 380 G5.

The server automatically shutdown.

The controller is an HP Smart Array P400 Controller.

Last week it  has shut down every day.

In this week instead it has shut down only today,  never in the last days.

The controller firmware version is 5.22.

What can I do?

This update is required to solve the problem?

The link you reference is firmware for disk drives, not the controller. You want to update the storage controller firmware.  With the error your showing, you probably need to repalce the battery module on the controller. A low battery generally won't shut the server off, but will reduce performance.

ok next week I will search the battery (I haven't seen it before) over the controller.

But the server turns off... what could it be?

In the hp diagnostic tool I see only this error. Raid is good and the hard drives too, I tested it with hp acu tool.
