Hello,
I came in to to work this morning and my HP Proliant DL380p/Gen 8 had an I/O error on the display. After looking in the logs I found: "Array controller P420 located in server slot 2 has reported that it previously locked up with code 40895763" and the server shut down last night at 7:41:41PM 12/4/2018 (last night).
I looked at the HP Smart Storage Administrator and checked the Smart Array P420\Slot 2. There were 0 status messages listed.
I am not sure what else to do at this point. I can run Diagnostics after hours when no one else is on the system.
Can an export please advise on what to do next?
Thanks,
Reeze

Re: Array Controller P420/Slot 2 Locked Up with Code 40895763
Hi there,
Sometimes cache memory can cause lockup, can you try to remove cache (if applicable) and run server without cache?
Will be bit easier to identify issue if you will add exact lockup code
KInd Regards
Slav
