Array controller not recognizing drive as member of RAID set

I have a DL380 G1 with a ROC chip as the array controller.
There are 2 drives setup as a hardware mirror.

I had to take the drives out of this server and insert them in an identical server (same speed processors, and a ROC)

When the server boots up it says that drive 1 is missing.

the drive lights up during boot, but as the array controller is located it shuts off.

The server successfully boots to drive 0. If I go into the array controller utility, it says that there is a drive missing and that there is a new drive in slot 1.

I have tried a different drive in slot one, and I have cleared the NVRAM, without change.

How can I force it to mirror to the drive in slot 1?
Thanks
Chris

Re: Array controller not recognizing drive as member of RAID set

Hi Chris,
Do you recall the slots in which these drives were in the previous server ?
To have a better idea of the issue , could you send the snap shot of the physical view in ACU

Re: Array controller not recognizing drive as member of RAID set

The disks were in the same slots, 0 and 1. I made sure to keep them in the right order.
There was a spare drive originally, but it is not recognised either.
Attached is a screen shot.

Thanks

Chris
