Array failure HP ML 150 Raid 10
Hi everyone,
We have an HP ML 150 G5, and have some problems with our array.
For about two days ago everything stopped working, when we checked the array one disk was grey, this we changed to a new and rebuilded the array.
After an rebuild we start the server again, but when i checked the disks in HP storage manger 2 of the disks had errors.
We have tried several times to rebuild the array but nothing works, when we try to rebuild the disk, it's only one of the two disks that starts the rebuilding. And this takes about 16 hours or more.
System information
Windows 2008 X64
4 disk set in raid 10
The new disk is an WD 500GB SATA2 and the 3 old ones are Seagate 500GB SATA2 disks
The raid controller is the built in from HP.
We have updated the bios and the firmware for the raid controller.
Hopefully someone of you could guide me to what i should do to make it work again.
Hopefully without have to reinstall the whole computer.
Regards
Thomas B
