Array stuck at 514072MB in ACU 8.10.1.0

I just reloaded a DL380 G3 that has a Smart Array 3200 in it, firmware up to date. When i go to make an array, with a local drive RAID5'd, it limits me to 514072MB, when really the total available space is over 800GB. am i limited by ACU or by the smart array 3200 controller?

or the OS is already installed? if so which OS? W2000 - W2003?

Hi. I already have Server 2003 installed. I'm using 72.8GB drives, I believe i have 12 in the array now.

"Up to 15 Wide Ultra2 SCSI, Wide-Ultra SCSI-3, Fast-Wide SCSI-2 or Fast SCSI-2 Hard Drives. When used with the ProLiant Storage System Model UE, the SA-3200 supports up to 12 HDD per channel."

I just want you to try something if you can try this old ACU version 7.6 and let us know

something else the controller sees all HDDs (12) right?

Yeah, it see's all the hard drives in the array.

The link you gave me was for the ADU, not the ACU. What did you want me to do with the ADU?

I tried that version of the ACU, in case that's what you meant, and it still limits me the same way as the higher version of ACU does. maybe i'm limited by the smart array hardware?
