Hi! We have a Proliant ML150 G6 with 4 disks in 2 RAID-1 arrays. Do to a misconfiguration in BIOS, RAID was disabled. No we are left with one correct disk in each array. Ive recovered B110i arrays many times before, but always one array at a time. ┬┐Is it posible to recover two arrays (four disks) simultaneously?
The manual says: "If you need to replace more drives than the fault tolerance method can support..." but it doesnt specify how many drives the fault tolerance recovery method can recover simultaneously.
┬┐Anyone know?
Thanks. Mauro.

Re: B110i Double Array recovery
If you have RAID 1 or 5, you can only have one failure.
RAID 6 allows for two.

SolutionIf you have 2x RAID1 pairs with a "failed" disk in each, reboot the sever and press F1 or F2 (read the question on the screen) to start recovery. The controller will recover the arrays one by one. This controller doesn'r support hot swap (withut a license), so you need to select recovery during boot.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: B110i Double Array recovery
"The controller will recover the arrays one by one." Thanks. That was the answer I was looking for.
Regards.
Mauro.
