BBWC on Base DL360 G6

Trying to get my head round this one.
Need to protect data on RAID 5 array for this server, to do this, one supplier offers 512MB P-Series BBWC upgrade 462967-B21, the other a 650 MAh Battery Kit 462969-B21. There is a signficant price difference between both and I am not sure which way to go? I am thinking that the base model does not have BBWC and needs the former, thanks

As long as you have the true "base model" (with 256MB pre-installed) you can simply get 462969-B21 -- this will enable the BBWC.

462967-B21 upgrades from the entry (0MB) or base (256MB) to 512MB w/BBWC.
