BINIT error?

One of my servers rang in the new year with this in the Management Log:
An unrecoverable system error (binit) has occured.
It was followed 7 minutes later by an ASR, but failed to restart because somehow the boot order became incorrect. This is a DL380 G2 with a 5300 controller. Resetting the 5300 as the boot controller caused the server to restart normally. Its typically rebooted about once a month, so I know the boot order was previously correct.
Any ideas what a binit error is or how it could have changed its boot order? (aside from human intervention)

Hello Chanler,
I did come across this error a while back. The only thing I did to take of this was to update the system bios. I am not sure if the system bios of your server is current or not. In case it's not then update both the system bios as well as the firmware of SA5300 controller. Here are the links for both in case you need them:
