BIOS ROM disaster
hi im newbie here need some help here i have my DL160 G5 i dowgraded a lower version due of fan rotor issue rotating in high speed 15,000rpm after rebooting the machine it stuck in HP proliant screen i cannot proceeed to bios settings, is there any other way to recover the bios or upgrading the lates one and also how to reset the nvram of dl160? please help

Hi there,
You can go to BIOS and run the backup ROM if your server model has that facility. or you can boot with firmware maintenance cd and restore the old bios.
If there is no display reset BIOS by flipping the switch (or shorting the jumper) on the board.
Usually this solves. Post back whatever the outcome is
