BIOS ROM disaster

hi to all gurus i have terrible problem with my HP DL160 G5 can someone how to recover ROM, after flashing the firmware and suddenly the machine hang in HP Proliant screen :( please help me how to recover the rom.

Hi,

No buttons or switches to bios recovery.

first cmos clear and than update bios with usb key.

the problem is i think cant update via usbkey due of it hangs at the first boot in the proliant screen but the light at front panel still blinking, thanks for your reply

Hi myronray,

Check page 89 of this guide:

and try to clear the CMOS. The button labeled "SW6" will do the trick.

This will reset settings however if the RBSU is completely corrupt it will not be recoverable. You will need to contact HP for a replacement system board.
