BL - C Class Enclsoure - Internal Stroage Informations

Can i use Storage in BL-C class Enclosure.

I have seen in the HP WEBSITE and it shows we can connect 12 HDD in the C Class Enclsoure.

Can i use theese 12 HDD for the 7 BL 460 C Blades???

Can i have some information about theis Internal Storage in BL - C Class Enclosure.

The BL40c storage blade supports installation of 6 SAS or SATA SFF hard drives. And you cannot share the storage blade among server blades. BL40c provides dedicated storage for adjacent server blade in c-Class enclosure.

...having said that, allegedly there is a plan to enable storage sharing amongst multiple blades accessing the same SB40c (or a bunch of them).

Something like a small SAN over SAS signalling within the c-Class enclosure.

Nice. But not available yet.

Has anyone heard anything about this Shared Storage Blade support?

This article http://news.zdnet.co.uk/hardware/0,1000000091,39275182-2,00.htm?r=1 seems to hint that they'd release it on first half of 2007, and last week, as I participated on Onsite training on c-Class Bladesystem the instructor said he heard it would come this year?
