What is the preferred software installation for Windows 2003? I started with SmartStart 7.0 and W2003. Is there any other HP software you must have with the setup above?
The problem I am seeing is that I see four virtual hard drives that I allocated from my EVA, only the MSL tape library and none of the six NSRs.

SolutionIf you're connecting to an EVA then you will need to install the MPIO software so that you see one hard drive, rather than four.
You can get that here:

I'm not too sure about the MSL and NSRs... Are you sure things are zoned correctly ?
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Rob

Re: BL20p Windows Installation
I really dont know about that environment I mean Blades, SAN ...
but if you have SmartStart 7.0,
I recommend you use the latest one 7.8

Re: BL20p Windows Installation
Can you confirm how many Vdisks are presented to the host in Command View EVA...?
Cheers,

Re: BL20p Windows Installation
Windows\VHAISPTCBL8\Vdisk001\ACTIVE
But I may have goofed and install MPIO for VCS 4.x....Our VCS for 5000 is 3028.

Re: BL20p Windows Installation
I also found out why I can't see the ESL, I had to also add the HBAs in Command View TL.
Thanks All,
