Can anyone confirm that if a second processor socket is populated, the first memory bank for the second processor must be populated?
The manual recommends this for "optimal performance", but we are having trouble even getting to POST if the memory banks for the second processor are empty.

Solution
you need to have memory in 5C and 6C if second CPU installed

For optimal performance in most applications, populate the first memory bank for every populated processor socket = do not populate from 2nd bank, start from 1st, more general as long 25 has only two CPU for 1 you need to have bank A to be used.
