BL30 blades cross connect

Hi!

We are currently doing the windows 2003 clustering using bl30 blades. However, we got a problem concerning direct connecting the 2 bl30 blades on same enclosure. How do you directly (cross connect) bl30 blades on same enclosure? If cannot, how do you connect to it directly/privately using the blade switch?

Hoping for your help.

Regards,

LAT:

Depending on your interconnects, you should be able to connect the 2 servers easily.

If you have the Patch Panal 2, then just use a cross over cable, or wire the 2 servers to the same network switch.

If you have the GBe o GBe2 or the Cisco interconnects, then your already on a switch and you can't really "direct connect" the 2 servers with a physical crossover cable. The better choice would be to vlan the 2 ports seperately and give them IP's in a private range that your using on the network.

The Switch interconnects should have a web interface to configure them.
