BL30p Disk Drive setup

I have a demo system at a customer site which contains BL30p blade servers. The customer is unable to access the ata drives. They are physically there and show up as a single drive under diags, but are not visable to smart start for os installation. Any pointers to info on how to get these to work would be helpful. Using smart start v 7.30 Smart start suggests F8, but that is used to configure the FCA.

John:

You should be able to hit F8 at various times during the boot up process. I assume your watching through the iLo or through a Diag Dongle.

Just before the FCA's bios tries to load, there should be another F8 prompt to assist you in configuring your disk.
