BL35P sleeve problem

hello,

we have a lots of problems with BL35p sleeves (part number 354101-B21)

The main problem with the sleeves is when we connect the server to the SAN(eva 8000) via HBA,( Qlogic mezzanine card ) one of them is not synchronize and appears like not connect.

The other problem is, when we have only one server in the sleeve and we connect the second one, the one that worked good before crashed.
we have replace more than 5 sleeves in one month
any suggestions?, ideas?

regards

Re: BL35P sleeve problem

had you tried to keep one channel off in upper bay and reversed channel in lower bay

1.X
X.2

set delay or change hard loop ID

disable trough System ROM and Clear Settings from Qlogic for disabled Port

Re: BL35P sleeve problem

The two servers are in a FC loop within the same sleeve. You need to take this into account when you design/configure your SAN.
See BL35p Q&A page:
