BL35p SAS Logical Volumes

Has anyone been able to setup more than one logical volume on the BL35p SAS controllers? I have been able to create a RAID1 (IM) just fine and utilize only 10GB for the first logical volume, but I don't seem to be able to create a 2nd logical volume utilizing the rest of the RAID1 volume.

Any help is appreciated!

OS installed? Disk Management?
Manage Array from F8 - 10GB set by default?
F6 with SAS Driver can you reformat and recreate partitions?

Re: BL35p SAS Logical Volumes

Modified the default array deployment configuration script in RDP that came with RDP 3.0.

rem 0 = controller id; IM = RAID 1; 1 2 = disk ids
f:\lib\bin16\cfggen.exe 0 create IM 10001 1 2 qsync noprompt

The 10001 is the logical volume size that gets created on physical disks 1 and 2. The IM means that a RAID1 volume is being created. What I am trying to do is add a logical volume to take up the rest of the space on the RAID volume.

Re: BL35p SAS Logical Volumes

Just got off the phone with a technical person at HP today. This cannot be done with the SAS controller in the BL35p. Just thought I would update this in case anyone else is thinking of trying it. :-)
