BL40 ILO

i have Proliant BL40 server ,i can connect to the server by using Rear ILO port without any problem ,but when i try to connect to Front ILO port via Normal network cable using my note book (or any PC) i note that the netowrk interface always unplugged.
i try to connect this notebook with the same cable to another Blase server and it is work.
the firmware got ILO is updated.

Re: BL40 ILO

Call HP support and request part replacement.

Maybe: I/O, Video, and USB pass-thru board 360289-001

Let the guys check first....

Re: BL40 ILO

:-) replace part on the ethernet path...there is nothing else to say. If it works on other servers of the same type...there is nothing else to do....

Re: BL40 ILO

It's possible, but since it's working from the back, i presume the logic is ok...maybe just connections...
