BL460 iLO 'soap response packet'

When trying to connect to a BL460 through Onboard Administrator I get "The page content could not be properly loaded. The following error was reported: The soap response packet was unparseable."

This is a new enclosure with 2 BL460's. Same error on both. Updated the Onboard Administrator firmware to v1.11, still same error.

This is related to a Microsoft security patch that affected the XML parser:

The Onboard Administrator will need a firmware update to work around this, so look for a published update later this month.

Firmware version 1.20 has the fix in it. Sorry I didn't see it then to update the thread sooner...

The resolution is that you have to update the firmware on the enclosure...

To ensure compatibility when using the client workstation environment described above (XP in our case), upgrade HP BladeSystem c-Class Onboard Administrator Firmware to firmware version 1.12 (or later), available for download at the following URL:
