BL480c NIC/ethx mapping?
Hello, I'm in the midst of installing RHEL4u4-x86_64 in 2 BL480c. Having been burnt before on the BL25p, I'd like to ask in advance:
What is the mapping between the physical LAN ports and the ethX?
For the BL25p: eth0-> NIC port 2
eth1-> NIC port 4
So any ideas for the BL480c?

Re: BL480c NIC/ethx mapping?
HI,
Have you taken a look at this link?
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00705292/c00705292.pdf
page 120.
Are you using Onboard Administrator software? If you go under server bays and click on Port mapping it should give you a graphical view of the ports connected to each blade.
Rgds,
Albert
