BL495c iLO Virtual Serial Port hang

I'm running the iLO Virtual Serial Port on BL495c G5 servers. I have configured everything according to the documentation on http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00263709/c00263709.pdf. It works fine for a while, but every now and then the serial port seems to freeze. I connect to the iLO IP address over SSH and then use the vsp command to start the virtual serial port.

When the port suddenly hangs, I can see the following messages in dmesg:

usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 2
uhci_hcd 0000:00:04.4: Controller not stopped yet!
usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
usb 1-1: new device found, idVendor=03f0, idProduct=1027
usb 1-1: new device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
usb 1-1: Product: Virtual Keyboard
usb 1-1: Manufacturer: HP
usb 1-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
input: HP Virtual Keyboard as /class/input/input3
input: USB HID v1.01 Keyboard [HP Virtual Keyboard] on usb-0000:00:04.4-1
input: HP Virtual Keyboard as /class/input/input4
input: USB HID v1.01 Mouse [HP Virtual Keyboard] on usb-0000:00:04.4-1

At that point all I can do is reboot/reset the blade, and then it works again.

The machines run Novell SLES10 SP2 and they currently boot a Xen 2.6.16.60 kernel. I run the latest iLO firmware and the latest ProLiant Support Pack is installed. Is this a known issue?
