Today my collegue experienced a BSOD on a Windows 2012 Server.
This was while backupping virtual machines thru Veeam.
Currently this could be a disaster because because of the way Veeam uses snapshots and a BSOD crashed the server and therefore the snapshots would remain activated which could fillup the datastores.
Anyhow, somehow HP withdrew version v62.26.0.64 from the website without any information.
Only version 62.24.2.64 (26 Oct 2012) is now available and showed as 'the latest' (revision information)
v62.26.0.64 is included in the SPP2013.02.0 Support Pack, so be warned!
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib2/software1/doc/p1822529277/v85395/SPP2013.02.0-ServerSupportGuide.pdf
Still shows up here:
6th of june -> Still unknown why driver was pulled.....

Re: BSOD - Pulled from web! - HP SA SAS/SATA Controller Driver for Windows Server 2012 v62.26.0.64
Hi,
It would be helpful if you could post the BSOD Error message and code.
It will help others who have installed Windows 2012 on their servers.
Thank You!

Re: BSOD - Pulled from web! - HP SA SAS/SATA Controller Driver for Windows Server 2012 v62.26.0.64
Hi Suman!
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately my colleague doesn't have the memory.dmp available because he's not on the premises yet. This would be next Tuesday.
But the question remains why HP took the v62.26.0.64 driver version offline without (yet) any 'customer advisory'.
If I do obtain the stop code or any information about this BSOD I will post it.
Regards,
Arian!

Re: BSOD - Pulled from web! - HP SA SAS/SATA Controller Driver for Windows Server 2012 v62.26.0.64
Hi,
SmartArray Controller Driver version 62.26.0.64, the file name was cp018214.exe
Unfortunately this file is not available from hp.com
Googlig cp018214.exe gives various links to hp website but later it fails.
Yes and there is no advisory or any communication about the missing file.
Thank You!
