Backplane Expander Firmware for HP Smart Array Controllers - Do I need to update for my server?

I have a server 733733-421 (HP ProLiant DL360p Gen8 E5-2630v2 1 processor, 16GB-R P420i / 1GB FBWC, 460 W, PS, basic conf.)
I can not understand, do I need to update the firmware for the HP Gen8 Server Backplane Expander Firmware for HP Smart Array Controllers, because I can not understand even if I have it in the server
please, help ...

Hi,

If you are asking about SAS Expander Card, then this server DL360p Gen8 will not have such card because its a small server.

If the question is about SAS/SATA backplane expander firmware, then upgrading Smart Array Controller firmware, will upgrade the SAS/SATA backplane expander if installed.
