Backup from HD to HD

Hi,

I am getting some problem when i am trying to take the image backup of my Proliant ML350 Server through Symentech Ghost software.When i am trying to add a seconday HD in Server in place of CD-ROM.It is not detecting while i boot it form DOS prompt through floppy.Hence i find mysekf unable to take HD to HD backup of my Server.So I forced to take the backup on media storage device say DDS3(12/24GB DAT)


The DDS3 Dat during restoration sometimes stopped at 99% and backup doesnot restores completely.
Hence plz advice me to take the backup in some other way better if it cud be thru HD to HD
