Backup problem...
Hi,
I have a problem with my backup. In the event viewer I got a lot of "The device, \Device\Tape0, has a bad block" errors. I thought it was hardware related so I bought a new drive. The old drive was a HP 24i connected on the SCSI interface and the new one is a Compaq AIT 35 connected on the IDE-bus. Now to the problem, I still got the error!! The description is as above and the Event ID: 7, Source: caitn4i.
Sometimes, in most cases after a cold boot, the backup (NTBACKUP) is working ok!
I have the latest SPs, SP6 for NT and SP4 for Exchange, I also have checked the BIOS and it is the latest?
Any ideas?
Jan
