Bad HD Compaq 18.2GB Pluggable Wide Ultra3 SCSI 15K 1â (Raid-5).

Hi Guys,

I have a Compaq Proliant ML370 Dual Pentium III 1.26Ghz with a bad HD Compaq 18.2GB Pluggable Wide Ultra3 SCSI 15K 1â (Raid-5)
Mfg Part # : 188122-B22.

I want to buy a replacement, but this model doesn't exist any more.
The one that I found was a HP hard drive - 18.2 GB - Ultra320 SCSI, Mfr Part #: 286775-B22. Dose it works? Because I have a array of 4 HD.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

Erick.

Hello Erick,
Surely you can use the Ultra320 SCSI but the performance shall be equal to the lowest speed of the HDDs in your system. Higher speed drives are backward compatible. Here are some more part nos:

188014-002/BF01863644,
235065-001/BF01864663
251872-001/BF01865222
