Battery/Capacitor Status: Failed (Replace Batteries) on ProLiant DL360 G5
Hello,
I recieved the following errors using hpacucli:
hpacucli ctrl all show config detail | grep -i battery No-Battery Write Cache: Disabled Battery/Capacitor Count: 1 Battery/Capacitor Status: Recharging No-Battery Write Cache: Disabled Battery/Capacitor Count: 2 Battery/Capacitor Status: Failed (Replace Batteries) Failed Battery Location: Battery 1 Failed Battery Location: Battery 2
This is the DL360 G5 manual: https://images10.newegg.com/User-Manual/User_Manual_59-105-408.pdf
We ordered two battery replacements for this host. When I opened the chassis, I discovered that there was only one battery. I replaced it. I still get "Failed Battery Location" using hpacucli. I suppose that means the replacements I acquired might be bad. But since they might be good, I wanted to know how I am misunderstanding the messages above. Anyone else dealt with this scenario?
There is a HP StorageWorks MSA70 connected to the DL360 G5.

Hi Ectopunk looks like you got both in failure state , this saerver got active warranty ,
One Step is check the firmware .
Please Attach the entire adu log file , will be more helpfull than we can check if the battery si from the server controller or the MSA controller .

I was working with Lincy J when the chat app crashed. I was trying to upload the adureport.zip file. Then the chat crashed.

Re: Battery/Capacitor Status: Failed (Replace Batteries) on ProLiant DL360 G5
The chat app keeps crashing. I just sent my adureport.zip to Satish, but how the hell do I continue working with him if the chat app crashes?
