Battery failure on battery pack 1, replace battery
Hi,
Recently this error popped up on a DL380G5 machine with an Hp smart array P400 controller :
SLOT 1 Smart Array P400 Controller ERROR REPORT:
Array accelerator status:
Temporarily disabled
Batteries are not fully charged
Battery failure on battery pack 1, replace battery.
I've changed the array accelerator battery as the error message suggested and after some days, i noticed that there is something else since the error was still there. I tried to upgrade firmware to latest 7.22 but still no change. Anyone experienced this problem?

Re: Battery failure on battery pack 1, replace battery
Hi,
When was the battery replaced last time? Was the error cleared after replacing the battery?
And, this could be issue with Cache module and may need to replace it.
Thanks and Regards,
Murali Mohan

Re: Battery failure on battery pack 1, replace battery
You need to replace cache module and the battery simultaneously., update RBSU and Firmware again..
Goodluck.

Re: Battery failure on battery pack 1, replace battery
Run the latest SPP - http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/service_packs/en/index.html
It may be the management agents or the event notification service that needs updating. If that dosnt work, replace the battery again before replacing the controller.
