Re: Beggining Prolian Ml350G5... SmartStart... Raid5... first steps

well more details with question 2

RAID 1, if one fails you can replaced.

RAID 5, if one fails you can replaced, only with very bad luck if two fail you need to recreate all again.

Re: Beggining Prolian Ml350G5... SmartStart... Raid5... first steps

Well, I'll do that....

I may start the next monday, I tell you how it was.

I have mount Raid5 in "clonic" pcs with Adaptec Sata Controllers and Windows 2003 server, it is going new for me with HP.

I'll tell you.

(sorry) the last question... I remember here there was videos about hp servers... could anybody give me the link ???

Thank you very much

Re: Beggining Prolian Ml350G5... SmartStart... Raid5... first steps

hi

As far as I know 2 can use both, can you see both in network connections?

I undertand you can use ilo por only for remote connections or you can do a share ilo port which means have remote connection adn have network working in that port so 2 NIC ports and ilo remote all in 3 ports but that in an option in ilo
