Best Practice for array configuration
Hi, just setting up my first DL380 Gen10 and wondered if anyone could help with the best way to have the arrays set out.
I am installing just the os and HyperV on the host, everything else (DC, shared storage, TS etc) as VMs.
I have 8 x 400GB SSDs.
Would it be best to have all 8 drives in 1 array, probably going for RAID 5.
Or the OS on 2 Drives in RAID 1, and then the other 6 drives setup in RAID 5 for the VMs and the shared data to run off?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Best Practice for array configuration
Hi,
As per the best practice, it is recommended to have the OS and data on different arrays.
Hence recommending the second option to be implemented.
