Best way to add new HD's/Array on DL360 G5-P400i
Hi All,
New to forum and this model server/RAID card. :-)
What we want to do is upgrade and existing small, entry level (5.4K) three drive SATA RAID 5 array to larger enterprise (10K) three drive SAS RAID 5 array and migrate data from existing array to new larger/faster one.
The existing array is divided into 2 logical drives one for Windows server/boot and the other for SQL data.
As we have a spare 3 bays what is the fastest and easiest way to achieve this with a minimal risk of data loss?
Look forward to all viable suggestions and recommendations.
Regards,
BB
