Bios Reading is incorrect

Flashed Bios on ML530 P19 Series- However, Windows Server2003 is reporting 598mhz when it should show 800mhz. Is there a fix here or could the bios update gone haywire? Server seems to be operating correctly-slow on diskcache but I am going to try The advanced performance option on disk drives or Microsoft's article 332023 to see if corrects this.

Re: Bios Reading is incorrect

Hi

When the server boots does it report the correct CPU type & speed if yes then the fix needs to be on the Windows server2003.

Re: Bios Reading is incorrect

Yes, Upon boot up, Bios reports correct version number and date. Sees it as 800

Only in Windows Server 2003 system being reported incorrectly.
