Hi =).
I have a ML370 g2, running the original bios firmware. I found it on the site and attempted to extract it to a disk under a server 2003 o/s with no luck.
I recieve an error saying "NTVDM Fatal Error!"
Any ideas?

Solution
You can try downloading the Offline ROM Flash for SmartStart Maintenance: ROM Update Utility - HP ProLiant ML370 G2 (P25)
from http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib2/software1/doc/p2025081362/v49549/filehandler.html?path=/pub/products/servers/supportsoftware/cp004501-005000&files=cp004653.scexe&i=MTX-UNITY-I21412
File name: cp004653.scexe
And those are the instructions:
Installation:
Download the file and save it to a blank diskette. Make sure to keep the original file name.
Boot the server from the Firmware Maintenance CD, do as if you were going to install the firmware updates, but before clicking install, click on add supplemental, and then search for the cp004653.scexe that should be already on your USB or floppy.
Ypu can get the FW CD from:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=316593&prodNameId=3279713&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-73e7147c53964e85850764aaf7
* I attached the .scexe file in case you cannot download it.

Re: Bios updating
Used the remote deployment utility to update the bios. How handy!
