Bl20p issue

i have 3 blades, in a enclousre, two of them are fine, one of them on boot says unrecognised cpu, and asks me to run a rompaq, i have contacted hp, they gave me the link to the right rompaq, which i have extracted to a floopy, it doesnt recognis it, so i tryed via ilo, and it stil doesnt pick it up, i have tryed via floppy and creating an image, and neither of them work. just keeps asking for a disk. any ideas?

Re: Bl20p issue

Extract online Update and take ilo184.bin file
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/24584.html
From administration Select - Firmware Update, Browse for file and click Send firmware Image

after try once again Virtual media

Diskette that you create should be bootable, verify from other system

Re: Bl20p issue

Assuming you have two Identical CPU single Core and Your System Board for Single Core CPU. You got your System from Reseller with two Identical CPU) - for some Reason you have Problem with Unsupported CPU now. If you don't have any other Server to Test if it's CPU problem, try switching to Redundant ROM with CPU that won't power UP or Second one, Use switches 1,5 and 6 from box of 8. Once it done and nothing Helps replace System Board or CPU depend on the Results.

BL20p G3 Dual Core available with 2.8GHz only and system board starts with 4xxxxx-001 for single 3xxxxx-001
